Viral Banana Bread

When you have a craving for banana bread and you don't want to get out your stand mixer, remember this…you can make it in a blender. Yeah no kidding.

I am so late to this party because when searching online if I could do this, I saw that this has been done time and time again. It felt nice knowing that I wasn’t the only one that didn’t want to spend an hour setting up everything and cleaning up.

If you find yourself with an overripe banana, have no fear, because this is the perfect recipe to take that banana and turn it into something magical.

Although I did not incorporate protein powder into this, it’s important to know that not all recipes have to be high in protein in order to consider it “healthy”. So go ahead and make this and let me know what you think!

60g All Purpose Flour

100g Sugar

¼ Tsp baking powder

⅛ Tsp Baking Soda

¼ Tsp Nutmeg

¼ Tsp Cinnamon

Dash of Salt

42g Butter

One Medium Banana

One Egg


Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until just combined. Do not over blend as once baked, the bread will come out rubbery. Place in an oven safe container and into a 350 degree oven. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the toothpick comes out dry.
