Single Serve Pizookie

What if I told you that this will always be my choice of dessert?

This is your daily reminder that you can eat (insert food here) and still be healthy. I get so sad whenever I hear individuals say “I can’t have ( x ), it has sooo many calories in it”, and I’m sitting there holding my tongue because you absolutely can. If you’re sitting here thinking: “there’s too much sugar”, “there’s too many carbs”, “oh my god that’s so unhealthy”. I invite you to explore these thoughts further.

Health is not determined from things you consume from time to time. Plus, in my opinion, restriction is not healthy. So quit looking for a health-ified cookie or dessert and then wish you went and got the real thing. Moderation & balance is key.

Today’s single serve recipe was inspired by my love for cookies. Guys I’m not even kidding you, my boyfriend and I can literally smash a four pack of crumbl cookies.

It’s taken awhile to get to this spot in my life, but creating recipes like this no longer raise a question if this is “right” or “wrong” to do while having physique goals. By accepting that you can have any food you want, this all gets easier I promise.

So here we go! After you look at the macros you might ask “well this doesn’t have protein in it, it’s not healthy”. Girl, everything doesn’t have to have protein in it to be “healthy”. Go live your life and make sure you get your protein in from other sources throughout the day. You will be fine I promise!
