International House of Pancakes

I honestly don't know why I don't go to IHop more often. Call me easy to please, but the food is always great. I mean, who doesn't love pancakes?

With that being said, I wholeheartedly wish that there was a Cracker Barrel near me. The nearest one is about 4 hours away, which is so sad. On past road trips, my family and I used to go to Cracker Barrel all the time. Ugh, I miss it. Whenever I have the chance to visit one, I literally plan my day around it.

But let's get back to IHop because this is what this post is about right?

Yet another fast-food restaurant that has the nutritional information available and easy to track. My plan going into this was to make my plate as "macro-balanced" as possible. I chose to get pancakes as my source of carbohydrates, ham as my source of protein and fats, and egg whites for extra protein!

I chose to eat one pancake out of the two because that's truly what I knew would satisfy me. The macros below reflect this.

With the assistance of their nutrition calculator, this meal came out to be:

Again, I do not know why I don't come here more often. But after making this post I think I am going to plan to go some time this week ha!
