Chicken Tacos

Sometimes I get super lazy and honestly don’t want to put that much effort into preparing my meals. I feel like we can all relate to this.

Target absolutely comes in clutch with their pre-made rotisserie chicken and carne asada cooking sauce. Add these two together, and you have yourself an easy, high protein filling for some DELICIOUS tacos.

With 35g of protein, and under 450 calories, this lunch is not only easy to make, but filling. I made this for 3 days in a row and I cannot get over it, especially with the quick corn pico that I made!

96g Target shredded Rotisserie Chicken

42g Target Carne Asada Cooking Sauce

30g Tomato

35g Corn

18g Onion

5g Cilantro

Lime Juice


2g Queso Fresco

3 Sonora Tortillas Trader Joes


In a small pot heat sauce and add chicken. Combine tomato, corn, onion, cilantro, salt and lime to create a quick pico. Heat tortillas in a pan. Once warm, add chicken, pico, avocado and queso fresco and enjoy!
