Blaze Pizza
My favorite place to eat in the world is Blaze Pizza. Here in California, we are blessed to have many locations, which is great because like I said, I love this place.
I have been tracking macros for about four years now. If you are not familiar with macro counting, "macro" is short for macronutrients. Macronutrients are the protein, carbohydrates, and fats found in food. So when you’re tracking your macros, you’re tracking the grams of proteins, carbs, and fat that you’re consuming.
Under the supervision of a coach and into a five-day weight training regime, I count macros every single day that coincide with my fitness goals. As a foundational component of helloholloway, I approach macro counting in a flexible manner as all foods fit.
The statement “all foods fit” is used to emphasize that there are no “good” foods or “bad” foods. The idea that no food has a moral status is a crucial concept in eliminating the judgements and distortions that frequently arise in disordered eating attitudes and practices.
No food, especially one's favorite food should ever be eliminated or restricted. I've rediscovered happiness with food again by removing labels from it, after years of categorizing things as "healthy" or "unhealthy.". Anything that I deemed wasn't healthy, I did not eat.
It took years of work, but I can now say that I include all my favorite foods weekly if not daily.
After getting in a great leg day, Isaiah and I enjoyed Blaze Pizza and each other's company.
As Blaze Pizza offers access to their nutritional information, here is my go-to Blaze Pizza Order along with the macros. As a side note, most fast-food chains have nutritional information available, making macro tracking simple, customizable, and stress-free.
